Basic Collectibiity - Solana's Lesson with Jos Sevriens - Dec 2017
The Sweet Spot of Biomechanics
•
27m
A work in progress: Karen shares a lesson on Solana she had with Jos Sevriens. Solana is schooling Basic Collection. You will see many examples of moments that are going well, and moments where we are at the edge of Solana's comfort zone and how we quietly, calmly persist long enough for her to find the answer. Included in this video are lateral work, flying changes, transitions, and medium trot.
This video is helpful because it shows the actual training process where we go to the edge, but not over it. You will also see how it is a 3-way experience, where Karen, Jos, and Solana all must play together and take turns listening to one another.
