This is a continuation of the other video: Preparation Of Young Horse For First Ride (Part 1). You will be a fly on the wall as 2 DN Instructors collaborate to help prepare a 4 year old Arabian for her first rides. Michelle Young demonstrates a way to simulate riding from the ground. It’s a way to have your first ride on a horse without actually riding. It allows you to preview some of the horse’s reactions to this kind of closeness and let them practice resolving any issues in a positive way before mounting. The exercise in this video is best if your prerequisite foundation is strong.
