Karen speaks with David Lichman about an observation she made with her own horses in her herd. She tells David how Atomic and Hot Shot used to fight. Atomic was always able to push other horses. but when Hot Shot was introduced to the herd Hot Shot did not yield to him, and instead pushed back. Initially this led to big fights, but ultimately Atomic has bonded with him in a closer, friendlier way than with any other horse. Karen and David explore this dynamic and what we can learn from it as we create partnerships with and train our horses.
