Ewa Angantyr demonstrates how she promotes relaxation with her young, high-headed Arabian, Amiir. Ewa focuses rewards when he lowers his head to help him be more calm, trusting, and balanced. In this way he learns how to make himself calmer. She shows how she finds relaxation in motion, and how she uses that to have him more relaxed for mounting. This is an excellent video for anyone with a tense, excitable horse, or a horse that is just being started, or any horse that seems to begin the ride in tension and you want to address the tension from the beginning. It is an excellent demonstration of waiting and rewarding at the right time. This video is appropriate for students of all levels.
