Many people have requested that Karen show the very first steps of teaching your horse to put their feet in a rubber tub. This video does just that! Karen teaches her horse to do this for several reasons. It is a way to practice communication and it is helpful if you ever need to soak your horse's feet.
Karen will describe and demonstrate how to use pressure, release, markers, and rewards to guide the horse to understand what she wants. The concepts taught in this video can be applied to teaching things other than putting the foot in the tub.
