Karen plays with Ovation at liberty with a focus of creating enthusiasm while using a jump gymnastic. Ovation is typically a low energy horse, so everything Karen does with him needs to inspire enthusiasm. He also does not have a naturally uphill canter, so she uses jumps to help develop those abilities outside of a strictly dressage format.
