Dissolving Brace - Victor Riding - Aug 2018

This video continues from the video: First Thoughts About Contact with Victor (July 2018). He is a Grand Prix horse that has a lot of defensiveness around the contact. Here you will see Karen ride him in a way to help him dissolve the brace and begin to trust the contact again. He is recovering from an injury so is only allowed to walk. You might find this very interesting to see how Karen focuses on changing his mind about the feel on the reins. In his case, the defensiveness about the reins is the cause of other balance issues he has. This video is also non-dramatic in nature, and is more about quiet repetitions of one intention in order to continue to prove to the horse that he can open and trust.
This video is for everyone who is riding in connection with the reins!
