In the video 'Baroque Equestrian Games & Institute: Square Turns', Karen demonstrated a really valuable exercise for lightening the forehand and creating engagement and mobility. In this video, Karen coaches riders in a clinic through a square corner exercise. You will see horses of different levels, sizes, and shapes negotiate square turns and will hear Karen’s feedback in the moment! It will be like being at the clinic! This exercise can be done in a very basic way, and can ultimately be done with high degrees of collection and at the trot and canter.
This video is great for everyone who is riding!
