Watch a demonstration by Karen about Bridleless riding: Why you want to do it, how to start, and how it will help your dressage. Karen rides Natilla, beginning with the bridle, but explaining the purpose of the reins and how to focus on seat connection even when riding with the reins. Then she takes the bridle off and demonstrates a few key exercises to be able to do in order to be successful bridleless.
This video is for anyone with good basics that is interested in exploring how to get started bridleless. After this video, make sure to watch Part 2 to see Karen coach 2 riders in their first attempts at these exercises.
