Karen rides Solana to demonstrate an exercise to help you start riding without the use of the reins. This is an exercise can help solve many problems people have with the connection in the reins. It will help you get the seat connection you need for yields and for stopping. The better your communication gets with this exercise, the more trusting you will be to go without the reins.
This video demonstrates the first small steps you can take in order to get more comfortable considering going bridleless. Even if you never want to take the bridle off, this exercise will help improve your relationship with the contact because it will minimize what you need to use your reins for!
