Creating Calm Self Carriage in Cross Ties - Apr 2020

In this video you will see how Karen plays with Teo in order for him to feel comfortable in the grooming stall and on the cross ties. You will see subtle (and not-so-subtle) changes in his mental-emotional state and Karen will narrate her intention in each moment. He tends to go introverted when stressed and can seem OK unless you are really noticing! Cross ties are a handy tool, but only if the horse is calm and comfortable with them!
This video is great for anyone looking to understand their horses better and to know how to adapt to each different moment based on the horse’s mental state. Karen recommends watching the video: Teo - The Back Story prior to watching this video.
