Watch Karen do Moving Massage on 2 horses. The first horse is a more externally focused horse, and is experiencing some separation anxiety and obsession with another horse in the clinic. Karen uses Moving Massage not only to calm him but as a way to help him bring his attention back to himself and Karen. The second horse is much more self-aware and sensitive and the change happens faster.
Both horses find big releases in their bodies and move more freely afterwards. This is because sometimes the best way to access energy is to relax the muscles that are holding tension.
Moving Massage is a hugely valuable exercise that everyone should be playing with. We realize that since it is feel-based, it can be hard to describe on video. That is why it is so important to really watch and observe the changes in the horses, so when you play with it you will more easily notice the changes your horse makes.
