Karen shows three horses doing different exercises to create and develop piaffe. The exercises are in hand, at liberty and riding. This video uses slow motion and freeze-frame to help identify the best steps at their stage. Piaffe is a 'Collectibility' exercise in the Upward Spiral of Success. Piaffe can be started with fairly young horses once their basic working gaits and stretchability are established.
