This video is good for anyone who already has the basic foundational yields working with no reins. As always, it is important that you have a clear picture and understanding of the lateral positions before attempting to ask your horse for the lateral positions. This is also great for anyone who has been practicing lateral positions in connection with the reins, but feels that they are getting stiff and tight, or using aids that are too strong. This exercise will likely show you all the 'holes' in your communication - but that is a good thing - Now you will be able to improve it!
